DESKRIPSI
Profesi pendidikan mempunyai dimensi yang sangat luas yang mencakup semua stake holder pendidikan. Semua stake holder pendidikan berkontribusi dalam ranah pengembangan profesi pendidikan yang berujung pada pendidikan yang professional dan berkualitas.
AKTIVITAS
Aktifitas dalam perkuliahan ini akan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk penjelasan singkat oleh dosen (short lecture), presentasi mahasiswa per kelompok yang disajikan dalam setiap topik pembahasan (group presentation).
EVALUASI
Mahasiwa akan dievaluasi berdasarkan komponen berikut: kehadiran dan partisipasi tugas di kelas (20 %), kemampuan mengerjakan tugas dan presentasi (20 %), UTS (25 %) dan  UAS (35 %)
Total Score: (UTS × 25 %) + (UAS × 35 %) + (Assignment × 20 %) + (Presence × 20 %)

COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course provide topics in understanding of english language word formating in specifically and in other language in generally, together with morphological process, and students also capable to analyze  sentence based on morphological process.

COURSE OBJECTIVES
·           To know the essential of english morphology and syntax.
·           To know english language word formating specifically and in other language generally.
·           To know word formating together with morphological process.
·           Capable analyze sentence based on morphological process wether simple or complex.

CONTENTS
The course schedule are: (1) Introduction to English Morphology & Syntax, (2) the identification of word and morphemes and the nature of morpheme and type of morpheme, (3) roots, stem and bases, (4) inflectional and derivational morphemes,(5) morphemes and allomorphs, (6) multiple affixation, (7) morphological processes, (8) grammatical and ungrammatical, (9) sentence structure, (10) phrase structure rule, and (11) sentence relatedness.

ACTIVITIES
The activities will be in the form of short lectures, students’ worksheet (individual or group) and students’ presentation.

EVALUATION
Student’s final grade will be determined on the process before Mid-term test (regular attendance, active participation in the discussion, assignment, and presentation) 20 %, Mid-term test 25 %, the process before Final test (regular attendance, active participation in the discussion, assignment, and presentation) 20 %, and final test 35 %.

Total Score: (UTS × 25 %) + (UAS × 35 %) + (Assignment × 20 %) + (Presence × 20 %)

REQUIREMENT:
1)         Students are to attend the class at least 75 % of the total meeting (14 meeting).
2)         Students are to come to class punctually, not  more than 15 minutes late., if the students come late are not allowed to attend this class. The lateness of the student is considered absent.
3)         Students who can’t attend the class, they must send a letter or a short message to the lecturer.
4)         Student may leave the class when lecturer doesn’t come without any information or the lecturer late more than 15  minutes, and the students are allowed to ask the lecturer to give the lesson in another time.
5)         You are to submit your assignment, if any, on the agreed date. Submission after that date is reduced 5 points a day.
6)         Assignments are expected to consist of your own written work. If you quote material written by someone else, you must reference it to the source. Assignments contain material that is copied from somewhere and not referenced will be given failing grade.
